Maintain Your Systems

Reliability Retainer

You set it up and moved on. Now something changed — and you won't know until a client notices. Whether it's a tool you've used for years, an automation, or a custom app — we keep it running so you don't have to think about it.

Nobody's watching the thing you paid for

  • The system you launched months ago hasn't been updated or reviewed since — and you're not sure it's still working right.

  • You've changed your process, but the system still runs the old way — and you won't catch the mismatch until it causes a problem.

  • Something changed upstream and your workflow broke. You found out when a client noticed.

  • You want to improve what you have, but there's no one on your team who can touch it.

If you've invested in systems but nobody's watching them, that's where we come in.

What's included in your retainer

  • Monthly check-in so you always know what's running, what changed, and what to watch
  • Proactive monitoring aimed at catching issues early — covering the systems defined in your retainer
  • When something breaks, you're not starting from scratch — priority support from a team that already knows your setup, with response targets defined in your retainer agreement
  • A plain-English report each month: what worked, what changed, and what to improve next

Retainer clients also receive preferential rates on new Automate and Build projects — specific terms defined in your retainer agreement. The systems covered are also defined in that agreement.

Set up once, covered ongoing

  1. Step 1: We learn your systems

We review what you've built, understand how it all connects, and set up monitoring from day one.

  2. Step 2: We watch while you work

Proactive monitoring runs in the background. Routine maintenance for systems defined in your retainer is handled for you.

  3. Step 3: When you call, we already know

When something comes up, you have a team that already knows your systems. Priority response from people who understand your setup.

Frequently asked questions

What systems are covered?
The specific systems covered are defined in your retainer agreement. We typically cover automations, integrations, and infrastructure — whether that came from an Automate project, a Build engagement, or an existing setup.
How quickly do you respond to issues?
Retainer clients get priority response — typically same-business-day for urgent issues. Specific targets are defined in your retainer agreement based on your needs.
Can I add new systems to the retainer?
Yes. As your business grows, we can adjust the retainer scope to cover additional systems. We review coverage during your monthly check-in call.
Do I need to be an existing client to start a retainer?
No. We can onboard systems we didn't build. There may be a short review period so we can learn your setup, but you don't need to have worked with us before.
What does the retainer commitment look like?
Retainers are month-to-month — no long-term contracts required. You can adjust scope or cancel with reasonable notice. We'd rather earn your renewal every month than lock you in.

Need something new?

As a retainer client, we already know your systems. Need a new process automated or a purpose-built tool? We can move straight into Automate or Build with less onboarding time. View all services
